Hi I’m Mel, an abstract artist based in Surrey, UK.
Inspired by the energy of bold colour, movement, and the emotions that art can awaken, my work is deeply influenced by the experiences of love, loss and inner conflict, transforming those complex emotions into expressive art compositions.
Alongside my artwork, I compose poetry that inspires and accompanies my creative process, allowing the words and paint to work together in telling an emotional story. Through each piece I explore the connection between shape, texture, vibrant tones and heartfelt expression, creating artwork that encourages you to discover your own unique interpretation.
